 Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today was a day that set production behind very far as we had found out very and news. While filming the first time I was accidently wearing a shirt for our school football team and it had our logo on it. Due to this mistake we had to make a decision, refilm all of the scenes that I am apart of or re edit every scene I am apart of and block out the logo. First we decided to try and do the re editing option. This would be easier and more time efficient as we wanted to have been done with the movie and not been planning to have had this interruption. Using our editing software, cap cut, we tried to figure out how to solve out problem and blur out my shirt. But after trying to we could not make the censorship box follow the logo on my shirt. Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today my groupmates and I will be editing our blog based off of the peer review we received. Today was a bit of a challenge to meet up with each other. Today was a track meet for myself, meaning that we had to meet up at night considering the track meet was in the afternoon. Alex Nordyke was stuck doing homework at this time and was too behind on his work. As a result he suggested that we reschedule this event to another day so we could all focus and not inconvenience each other by showing up so late at night. But because Nathaniel was busy over the weekend with family events, he made us do it that night. I eventually agreed with him because if we did not do it this weekend, then we would have been behind schedule. As a result of this we decided the meet up time would be 8:00 PM at my house. Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Today is our blog about peer editing. This blog is the feedback of a total stranger to us about our movie and what they think of it. Initially we were going to give this job of peer editing to someone we knew because we figured they would give their honest opinion, but we realized it could lead to biased because they have a personal relationship with us. So, instead of doing that we decided to give it to a complete stranger in our class and see what they thought. We wanted to see if they thought the plot was good and what they thought of our acting and song choice, so we could go back and make changes to anything. We made sure not to tell them anything about the movie before showing it to them. We did this to endure that they would have no prior knowledge to it, and it would insure an honest opinion about our movie. Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today was the day we finished the editing completely of our movie. We started where we left where we left off last time and picked up on editing at the montage scene of us looking for things to do by search random and unreasonable places for something fun to do. We started by compiling of the clips we had acquired into the same clip. We changed the amount of time for each clip, so it would not take up much time in the video. After having these clips all together and cut down properly we decided to add the elevator music that we had decided to use in the previous blog. After doing this and inserting the clips into the movie, we decided it looked good. Proceeding this we decided to go back into our title screen and edit that by adding in the music that Nathanil had picked out in our last blog.  Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today was the day whereas a group, we would discuss the music that we would use for our movie. The first collective idea we had as a group was to get the main focus of the music to relate to the comedic sense that we were trying to communicate. The first idea we which Alex N suggested was "Bubbly" by Young Thug. After listening to the song, though the beat was good, we decided that there was too much in appropriate languages in the song. We wanted the song to have a fun and comedic, without being inappropriate for the audience. Nathaniel then suggested an upbeat rock and roll song to be our montage music and have a chilled out beat that he found online be our title screen music.  Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today was the first day of editing that we did as a group. It was a bit challenging because we couldn't all be in the same place at once due to the fact that we all had plans to do on that day. So, we worked around it and decided to collaborate through a text messaging group chat and though call. The editing software that we would be using was Cap Cut. We decided to use Cap Cut not only because it was free and available, but also because we it was easy to use and that benefited us being that none of us had much experience editing. After coming to this conclusion, we decided to get to work and start editing our clips together. We decided to start from the start of the movie and edit each clip as the plot progressed. We figured that this strategy would make the most sense compared to going through random clips, most likely getting confused, and then mix up clips and have something go wrong while editing.  Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. After a short break due to all of us being busy with school and sports we are back and have finished our final day of filming. By the end of the filming day, we had completed all of the filming requires for our film. So, in total we know have all of our clips completed but unedited. To start today off, we picked up filming where we did last week and that was after the board game scene. Following this the first scene that we needed to do was in the kitchen of all of us there talking and thinking of idea to do in order to spice up the fun. The first problem of the day started when we had to figure out where to set up the camera, because all three of us had to be in the shot and didn't have a 4th person to film us, we needed to set it up at a somewhat eye level while still being close enough to hear us telling. Hello welcome back to my blog, today was our first day filming as a group. We set the location of filming to my house and set the time for everyone to be there at eleven in the morning. When we met up, we decided to start with the title screen and go from there. The title screen included a car pulling into the driveway and us getting out. So, we started with Alex N, the only one who could legally drive, and Myself in the front seat of the car while we had Nathanial in in my driveway filming us pull into the driveway. We parked the car down the street and drove into the camera. After this we filmed a montage like pan view of our surrounding are in order to also us this in the title screen before the car pulled into the driveway. We decided to add a few more scenes for our title screen to ensure we had enough while editing. As a result, the next thing we filmed was a low angle shot of our legs getting out of the car after it was parked in the driveway. We then decided to begin rehearsing...

Before we could start filming, we needed to get props. But because our scene involved varying environments, we decided to make a list of all the props that we would need it order to film successfully and follow the plot. The first prop that we decided that we would need is a car. Luckily one of my groupmates had a car and he had his license so he could legally drive. This was the prop that we would be using at the beginning of our movie, meaning it was crucial that we had it. After we had the car, the next scenes involved a board game that 3 people could play, and it had to involve money because of what we had planned to say in our script. After searching for around thirty minutes through various cupboards and closets we found a game of monopoly that involved money. We looked at the instructions of how to set up the board game so we could set up quickly and efficiently in order to save time when we were together filming. The next section...

 Hello and welcome back to my blog. In preparation for our start to filming we have been working on a plan for how we will do filming and what things we will need to do in order to be successful. We made this our first day of production because this would help us prepare every other blog that we needed to do for the future and would make our lives easier. We started with figuring out the Transporation methods for us so that we could efficiently get back and forth from each place that we decided to film at. We did this because we wanted to maximize our filming time and work as proficiently as possible considering our tight schedules as each of us has work and sports to account for. Location: We will be using Alex N's living room, his bedroom and his Kitchen/ Dining room for filming.   Participants: Alexander Dimartino, Alex Nordyke, and Nathanial Greene.  Health: Though there is no scene in our movie that will be using any potentially dangerous on our set while filming, during any situation on scene we will have access to a med-kit and medical supplies at all times as well as the use of the authorities by calling 911.' Schedule:  The Fridays of the 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd of February 2024. with us also meeting up on the Saturdays of the month on the 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th of February 2024.

  For title research I used the site Art of the Title. This site has been very useful so far. It has helped me understand what needs to be included in a title. I have also been able to get ideas for scenes that we could use for our title. Some titles use cach scene to represent a side of the movie. While others use metaphoric representations like CGI scenes. Some titles use each scene to introduce characters and members of the cast. This site also gives in-depth descriptions of each title. These explain why the director incorporated catch feature in their titles. Overall, this site has and will be very helpful for our title research.

 I got the movie I used from Netflix. Titles that were displayed in the opening sequence included the producers and actors that where in the movie. The images that are prioritized in the beginning of this comedy movie are a very serious and inspirational logo of a police badge followed by images from the new jersey police department training facilities, it then show picture of a short and fat man who is participating and as he is running and completing his final exam he is doing perfect before falling on his face and going to sleep right before he passes the finish line. By doing this it the seriousness that should be had when dealing it the police department and turns it comedic by making the main character a short and fat cop that messes up because he falls. This made me feel the comedic aspect of this movie starting when he was running and sweat makes of his shirt made a funny face and ending after he falls on his face.  I got the film from Netflix. The titles displayed in the opening sequence of the comedy movie "here comes the boom" includes the producers of the movie and the actors as well as the title of the movie. In the opening sequence of this comedy the images that are prioritized to be shown are pictures of wresting trophies and pictures if the main character in his glory years until it changes to his degree in teaching and him lying in a dirty room asleep past his alarm clock. It includes these to give background to the current situation that the main character is in and how he was star athlete to know a teacher that is very lazy in his later years in life. Through the opening sequence it gives me the idea that I am about to watch a comedy because after hearing his alarm he gets up in quick manor and runs across his bed to get ready, this made me laugh and set the tone for the movie.
